AI and Engineering Disclaimer

1. Nature of the outputs
Reliability Factory may use Knowledge Graphs, retrieval systems, statistical methods, language models and engineering workflows to support RCA, Bad Actor Review, maintenance strategy and related services. These tools help organize and analyze information; they do not guarantee that the available information is complete or that every generated proposition is correct.
2. Human validation
Reliability Factory applies engineering review to project deliverables before handover. This quality step does not replace review and approval by the client's qualified reliability, maintenance, operations, safety or other responsible personnel. Assumptions, uncertainty and evidence gaps must be considered in the client's operating context.
3. No certification or authority
Deliverables do not certify equipment, prove regulatory compliance, constitute an original-equipment-manufacturer instruction or act as an authority having jurisdiction. They are not a substitute for inspections, calculations, tests or approvals required by applicable law, standards, procedures or site governance.
4. Safety-critical use
Outputs must not be used as the sole basis for isolation, protection-system changes, return-to-service, life-extension, integrity, environmental or other safety-critical decisions. Appropriate competent persons must validate the source data, engineering basis, hazards and proposed actions.
5. Data quality and model limitations
Results depend on the quality, completeness, timeliness and interpretation of source data. Records can be inconsistent and technology-assisted analysis can misclassify information, omit context or generate plausible but unsupported statements. Traceability helps expose the basis of a conclusion; it does not eliminate the need to verify it.
6. Operational responsibility
The client controls its assets and remains responsible for decisions, approvals, implementation, change management, regulatory duties and the consequences of operational use. Specific warranties, liability provisions and allocation of responsibility are set out in the signed engagement agreement.
7. Contact
Questions about a deliverable or this disclaimer should be sent to contact@reliabilityfactory.com before operational use.
