Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern use of reliabilityfactory.com and apply to Reliability Factory services unless a signed engagement agreement states otherwise. Scope, price, schedule, deliverables, contracting party and governing law are defined in that agreement, which prevails if there is a conflict.
2. Services
Services may include Root Cause Analysis, Bad Actor Review, maintenance strategy work and related reliability-engineering support. AI and private working tools may assist retrieval, structuring and analysis, while deliverables remain subject to engineering review.
3. Client responsibilities
The client will provide lawful access to relevant data, knowledgeable personnel and complete information reasonably required for the work. The client must independently review deliverables through qualified personnel and remains responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, plant changes, maintenance execution and operational decisions.
4. Data and confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only for the engagement. Client data remains the client's property. Access, storage, approved subprocessors, retention and deletion are governed by the engagement agreement and applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
Pre-existing methods, software, schemas, templates, brand assets and know-how remain the property of their respective owners. Rights in client-specific deliverables and any reusable working context are defined in the engagement agreement. No right to third-party material is transferred beyond its applicable licence.
6. Engineering and AI limitations
Data may be incomplete, inconsistent or inaccurate, and technology-assisted outputs can contain errors. Deliverables are decision-support material, not equipment certification, legal advice or an authority having jurisdiction. See the AI Disclaimer.
7. Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the website is provided as available without implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. Liability, exclusions and any cap for paid services are defined in the relevant engagement agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service operation, submit unlawful data or copy protected material except as permitted by law or written agreement.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these website terms prospectively. Material service changes require the process agreed with the client. Questions can be sent to contact@reliabilityfactory.com.
